GETTING A PERFECT FITGet a Perfect FitHere is all the information you need to get a perfect fit.Determining your sizeTo get your accurate body measurements use a good quality tape measure.Get a friend to help if possible. Measure your body over properly fitting undergarments while standing erect without shoes. For consistency, take all measurements from the same side of the body. Maxwell-Henry’s FitMaxwell-Henry’s clothing is designed to fit comfortably – so it is neither skimpy nor baggy.You shouldn’t need to “size up” or “size down” unless you have a particular fit preference. Once you have found your size for a particular garment style, you can confidently order the same size in any similar style we produce. Finished GarmentsUnless otherwise requested, your garment will arrive made to Maxwell-Henry’s regular size measurements.Please contact us at maxwell-henry@xtra.co.nz if you would like us to custom make one of our designs for you we will be happy to oblige, however there will be an additional cost. How to MeasureWaistMeasure around your waist, in your underwear, at the point where your trousers would normally ride, or your skirt would normally sit. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.HipStand with your heels together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.BustWith your bra on, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.ArmIf possible get a friend to help.Measure from your shoulder bone down your arm to your wrist bone. The total length in centimeters is your sleeve length. Trouser finished length (outside leg)Select a pair of your trousers that you like the length of. Lie them flat on the floor or a flat surface. Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom, without stretching. To the nearest centimeter this is the finished length.Skirt finished lengthSelect a favourite skirt, lie it flat on the floor or a flat surface. Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom, without stretching. To the nearest centimeter this is the finished length.Dress finished lengthSelect a favourite dress, lie it down flat on the floor or a flat surface. Measure from the centre back neck to the bottom without stretching. To the nearest centimeter this is the finished length.
